\u201cWhat in the world are we doing?!\u201d <\/h2>\n

\u2026 this thought actually ran through my head somewhere over the North Atlantic. It has been such a whirlwind, that I sometimes sit and think\u2026 why exactly did I uproot my family and go halfway around the world? But of course, God has always worked it out for us, lit our path up like a runway strip, and helped us out along the way.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve already had our share of obstacles and stress, and as an old missionary couple told us today, \u201cLife hasn\u2019t been easy but it\u2019s been great!\u201d And the same is already true for us. We made it through Ben\u2019s broken leg\u2014he had a brace on through Christmas and New Year, and got it off the day before we were scheduled to leave Phoenix; the doctor\u2019s words were, \u201cBen\u2019s leg looks great, take it off!\u201d And take it off we did, with huge smiles on our faces.<\/p>\n

God has come through every time.<\/strong>

We\u2019ve been waiting since August for some money that the Air Force owes us, and we got notice in the mail the same day as Ben\u2019s brace came off that they would pay it\u2014another gift from God and now the United States Air Force can help support the Kingdom of God!<\/p>\n

God has come through every time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We flew from Newark to London Heathrow to Malaga Spain last Wednesday. On one flight, the flight attendants moved two passengers to other seats so that our family could have more room! It seemed like we moved an entire household on our backs\u2014we checked 10 bags and carried on 5 more! But everywhere we turned we had helpful security agents and fellow travelers showing kindness. And we even landed in Malaga, Spain to the kind faces of Juanito Jonsson and Daniel, our new friends in Mijas, Spain.<\/p>\n

God has come through every time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And we know he will continue to come through\u2014we\u2019ve met some amazing people here already\u2014those who were complete strangers on Tuesday, are now strong friends: Andrew, who has been our tour guide, translator, teacher, and friend\u2014Thank You! Carol y Andres, two Brasileros<\/em> who we can hang out with and have great hearts and want to serve Christ\u2014Thank You! And it\u2019s only been tres dias!<\/em><\/p>\n

God has come through every time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And we thank God for you\u2014those who are praying for us, who have already helped us on our journey, and who are financially supporting our family and the G42 Leadership Academy. <\/span>We are still short on our monthly support\u2014about $800 short. <\/span>And that doesn\u2019t count Ben\u2019s medical bills\u2014pray they will be all covered by state agencies. <\/span>If you aren\u2019t already, please think about supporting us monthly. <\/span>I will send another update soon to give you more details on the training center we are starting, but you can check it out now at www.g42leadershipacademy.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The girls are very happy and as Gabriella said \u201cSpain Rocks!\u201d <\/span>They have made friends with a boy from Angola and are picking up Spanish words all the time. <\/span>Once we find our apartment and get a little stability I will register them for Spanish school.<\/p>\n

We are busy looking for an apartment in the little old Spanish village of Mijas Pueblo. <\/span><\/p>\n

I was trying to ask a lady on the street the directions to the grocery store in my broken Spanish, and she said \u201cOh I speak English,\u201d she was English and immediately took the kids and I into her house to see if would like to rent one across the street from her. <\/span>She has invited us back for Ben to play with her 2-year old. <\/span>She is a Christian and it was just another little gift from God to make this move that little bit easier. <\/span>We all prayed back in America for friends, so we wait to see who else God has lined up, especially for the girls.<\/p>\n

It is so very different from the life in America, but it is going to be a great experience. <\/span>It will be brilliant when we get the first students here and start full steam ahead. <\/span>It may be starting small, but this is going explode and affect the entire world\u2026..of this I have no doubt!<\/p>\n
