{"id":187,"date":"2009-02-21T04:11:22","date_gmt":"2009-02-21T02:11:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/warriorshepherd.com\/blog\/?p=187"},"modified":"2013-04-08T11:13:17","modified_gmt":"2013-04-08T09:13:17","slug":"multi-national-nation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/warriorshepherd.com\/blog\/multi-national-nation\/","title":{"rendered":"A Multi-Generational Generation, and a Multi-National Nation!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve spent the last week installing the kitchen, putting together IKEA cabinets, and feverishly putting together the last minute details for the students staying at Villa Los Grillos.\u00a0 (with the help of Rebecca and some of our friends here, of course.)\u00a0 A nice thing about Spain are the coffee breaks:\u00a0 the ladies set out an amazing spread of coffee, hot chocolate, steaming milk, cakes, bread, butter; all work stops; and then we sit down to enjoy.\u00a0 But the amazing thing about Villa Los Grillos is that it is truly international&#8211;around the table people are talking English, Spanish, Portugese, and even Swedish.\u00a0 At one point, someone noted that around the table, we had 9 different nationalities: American, Brazilian, Argentinian, Chilean, Peruvian, Angolan, Swedish, British (from England and Gibraltar), and Nigerian!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/warriorshepherd.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/og-multi-national.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-189\" title=\"multi-national\" src=\"http:\/\/warriorshepherd.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/og-multi-national-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"http:\/\/warriorshepherd.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/og-multi-national-300x199.jpg 300w, http:\/\/warriorshepherd.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/og-multi-national.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>We&#8217;ve often talked about the 42nd generation being a &#8220;multi-generational&#8221;
