{"id":22,"date":"2007-10-28T15:56:20","date_gmt":"2007-10-28T22:56:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/warriorshepherd.com\/blog\/2007\/10\/28\/a-tale-of-two-movies-part-one\/"},"modified":"2007-10-28T16:00:46","modified_gmt":"2007-10-28T23:00:46","slug":"a-tale-of-two-movies-part-one","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/warriorshepherd.com\/blog\/a-tale-of-two-movies-part-one\/","title":{"rendered":"A Tale of Two Movies (part one)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My wife recently got an email from a friend telling her about a new movie coming out, &#8220;<em>The Golden Compass<\/em>.&#8221;\u00a0(Released as <em>Northern Lights<\/em> in the UK)\u00a0 This movie, in the traditions of the\u00a0<em>The Fellowship of the Ring<\/em>\u00a0and <em>The Chronicles of Narnia<\/em>, is the beginning of a spellbinding fantasy epic that is sure to take Hollywood by storm.\u00a0 The only difference is the source&#8211;far from the traditions of J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S.
