It’s 4am, we just got back from a trip to the ER for Ben, he had a 102 degree fever and was screaming inconsolably. We drove the 15 minutes to the ER, by which time (of course) he had stopped. In the parking lot, he even flashed a few smiles and had a fun time jerking the steering wheel around on the van. So, rather than being called morons by the ER staff, we drove home and were able to get him to bed. So here I am, fueled by McDonald’s coffee, with a couple of notes for you. [By the way, McDonald’s doesn’t start serving breakfast until 4am, so I was bummed to 
miss out on an Egg McMuffin.]
Gabriella was crying Monday morning as well. I ran to see what the problem was and it turned out that “she ran out of fingers.” You see, she was doing her Math drills on the computer and came upon a tough problem. 8 + 3.
I found a cool site during some web surfing a few days ago and thought I would share it with you. “Just Wallpaper” is a blog that revolves around the concept of “responsible desktop backgrounds.” :^) Actually they are very cool and I’ve got one on my computer now. (See pic) It’s something to spur you to action–or to just think–while you are staring blankly at your computer screen trying to think of a blog topic.
