Sorry it’s taken a while to blog… but I have a good excuse. Benjamin David was born on November 4th!!! He and mummy are healthy … but they are missing Daddy (me), who is now en-route, waiting for a “hop” over to the desert. I just wanted to give you an update while I can.
Things are moving fast now… Rebecca and the kids are staying busy by packing up the house and will spend Thanksgiving with family.
On the plane this morning, I was listening on my mp3 player to a message by Andrew Shearman entitled The Storm. In it, he talks about how prayers and promises were already answered but the Israelites (in Joshua 3) and Daniel (in Daniel 10) had to be patient to see the answer and power of God. That’s where we are now–we know that God’s purposes for our lives are being accomplished–but it’s hard to show patience and wait on God.
Anyway, as for Ben–he’s already a strong boy, he’s going to be a mighty Warrior Shepherd one day. More on him another day.
