Spain The Beginning.

Here’s a blog from one of our first students, Sean Smith.  You can check out the original, plus the rest of his story, at http://seansmith.theworldrace.org .  Sean’s an awesome Man of God, and I’m glad to have him on our side! //Dave

I‘ve been in Spain two weeks now and I’m already in love.

The physical beauty of the land and culture is breathtaking.  As I’ve walked around the towns on the coble stone streets I think to my self “I’m so fortunate, how did I come to be here!?”

I‘m overwhelmed with thankfulness to God, my family, and friends who have supported me!  In a weird way I feel at home all over again.  This season feels a bit different than any past season in my life.  It feels like I’m being prepared.

The G42 Leadership School is not just a bible school.  It’s composed of a few main pillars: servant-hood, leadership, community, and biblical teaching.

I feel privileged to have the opportunity to learn from the men and women who have come to teach and pour into us.  Our classes are heavy and full of information. I’ve already learned so much.

Not only do we study together but we also live together.  We serve one another and the community around us.  It’s really all about loving God and then loving everyone else around us.  It’s awesome!

In addition to my studies I’ll be doing a few other things. I’ll be traveling to a few other countries in Europe to help with the WorldRace as teams pass through Europe.  I’ll be focusing on leadership development and simply serving.  I’m very excited!  My first stop is Romania at the end of the month.  Additionally I’ll be doing some video production for the G42 Leadership School, putting a few videos together to be put on the web.

I hope to make a few personal videos each month as well; just to share about my time and etc.

Much love to you all, thanks for following me!
